    1. I think you would enjoy Eureka Springs, Susanne. The Ozark Mountains are quite lovely, and this is one of the most interesting small tourist towns we have visited 🙂 Bentonville (an hour away – the subject of my next post) was a wonderful surprise too. Northwest Arkansas is a great destination that seems largely unknown on a national scale.

    1. NW Arkansas is a great place to visit. Until a couple of years ago, in my 40 or so drives via I-20 to Texas to see family, I had never stopped anywhere in AR but a hotel or gas station. What a shame to have spent all those years just passing through when I could have ventured north a bit to see the many wonders of the Ozarks. I’m making up for lost time now!
