What can one do in Florida when it’s cold and rainy? Hunt for antiques! I lost count of how many antique stores and malls we strolled, even though each had its own distinct personality.
St. Pete offered lots of fun mid century decor…
And cute old downtown storefronts…
And a huge, fabulous modern furniture store where everything was in amazing condition.
Across the Sunshine Skyway bridge in Terra Ceia, Zula’s is surrounded by palms and gardens and Rosie’s Produce (more on that later)…
And continuing south on Highway 19…
We spy big cats…
And make friends with little ones. Don’t you just love shop kitties?
Below are just a few of the goodies that we brought back, now available in our vintage shop. Many of our treasures have already found new homes, but we had such a good time junkin’ in Florida that we’re headed back down next week. This trip should be much warmer than our January trip. Hooray!
